Why we love this piece

Ivy Alice was created from the desire to make pieces that add character, texture & warmth to the home.  Working with locally sourced reclaimed timber around South Australia with some boards over 100 years old.  These boards are filled with character and soul and each piece unique. 

Product Description

Handmade using locally sourced reclaimed Baltic Pine. This sweet little board is one of the first launched. The beautiful detailed handle dubbed the "Frenchie" has become a favoured style and is part of many boards in the Frenchie family. This particular board also comes in a larger size (the Large Frenchie Square)  Intended to be used as a cheese board, charcuterie board, serve ware & decor. All serving boards are finished with Australian made food safe wax (Gillys, available at Bunnings nationwide) 

Each board is unique with no two the same. Being a softwood the timber can mark easier than hardwood. Due to the nature of the timber the product could have small holes, cracks or other marks. All of which add to the character.  It is these reasons that they are not recommended for everyday chopping and the cutting of raw meat (no one wants bacteria caught inside)
